Habitat: Area of scattered, seasonal ponds and drainages. In pools and wet drainage of an open, ponded (semi-dry) basin with Carex vesicaria, Bidens, Polygonum, Glyceria, etc. Sparganium primarily in drainages.
Description: 2 male spikelets on many flowering plants. Most upper females clustered together.
