Habitat: Seepage-fed wetland complex in rather strongly-rolling forested terrain ... Fairly extensive hanging seepage wetlands on moderate slope in ecotone between forested upland and conifer swamp. Common on mucky margins of small groundwater-fed pool dammed (by beaver?), and in wet sand along seepage flow exiting the pool. Cold, clear water. Mostly in full sun ... Associated species include Mimulus glabratus, Veronica americana, Impatiens capensis, Juncus nodosus.
