Habitat: In partial shade at the edge of a white spruce forest ... Associated with Salix bebbiana, Amelanchier intermedia, Crataegus macracantha.
Description: A single-stemmed individual 2.8 m tall, and 7 cm diameter. Stamens about 20 (=C.irrasa), anthers white. Compound thorns absent. Collected from same stem as WRS26820 (fruiting specimen).
