Habitat:
Gently-rolling terrain ... In small wetland basin in mesic hardwood forest. Vernal marsh dominated by Glyceria grandis. Saturated mucky soil, often in shallow water. Additional associates include Carex lacustris, C. vesicaria, Sagittaria latifolia, Veronica scutellata, Sium suave, Alisma trivale, Cicuta bulbifera, Galium tinctorium, Lemna minor.
