Habitat: Granite outcrop on riverbank above backwater channel; in bits of dry soil along bedrock cracks. In full sun. Associates include Talinum parviflorum, Hedyotis longifolia, Selaginella rupestris, Ambrosia coronopifolia, Allium stellatum, Euphorbia maculata, Woodsia ilvensis, Bulbostylis capillaris, Andropogon gerardii.
