Associates include Carex cryptolepis, C. lasiocarpa, C. buxbaumii, Dulichium arundinaceum, Juncus nodosus, Glyceria striata, Calamagrostis neglecta, Thelypteris palustris, Eupatorium perfoliatum, Triadenum fraseri, Potentilla palustris, Iris versicolor.
