Habitat: On sandbar. In coarse sand with numerous shells ~3-12 inches above current river level (low due to extended drought). Mostly full sun. Associated species include Panicum philadelphicum, Eragrostis hypnoides, Cyperus aristatus, Polygonum lapathifolium, Rumex maritimus, Veronica catenata, Lindernia dubia, Mollugo verticillata.
