Habitat: Wet prairie/mesic oak savanna - former pasture. Annually burned for 40 years. Low swale and sandy rises 30 acres with brook. Alluvial silts & clay over sand. Forb content high. large abundance of wet prairie species in open areas...Carex buxbaumii, Carex haydenii, Calamogrostis [sic] canadensis, Rubus strigosus, Carex tenera, Castilleja coccinea, Platanthera lacera.
