Habitat: Restored lakeshore on the north side ... The transition zone is largely rip rapped but has hemic (organic) soils near the lake's edge. The aquatic zone is comprised of sand and though had been restored the restoration was a complete failure. The upland is dominated by Andropogon gerardii, Schizachyrium scoparium, Asclepias tuberosa, Aster novae-angliae, Calamagrostis canadensis, Solidago speciosa, Sporobolus heterolepis, Verbena hastata and Vernonia fasciculata; the transition zone is riprapped, but Bidens and Impatiens spp. are present between the rocks.
