Associated species include Elocharis palustris, Dulichium arundinaceum, Juncus canadensis, Glyceria canadensis, Cicuta bulbifera, Equisetum fluviatile, Potentilla palustris, Triadenum fraseri, Campanula aparinoides, Nymphaea odorata.
