boulder-strewn beach in small bay ... in moist, shallow soil in hollows between boulders. Full sun to partial shade of Alnus incana & Salix discolor. Associates include Scirpus cespitosus, Deschampsia cespitosa, Juncus alpinoarticulatus, Aster umbellatus, Primula mistassinica, Lobelia kalmii, Euthamia graminifolia.
