Habitat: Inter-drumlin wetland complex ... in small patch (~5 acres) of poor conifer swamp ... Patchy canopy dominated by Larix laricina and Picea mariana, with scattered Pinus banksiana. Partial shade. Deep saturated peat. Continuous sphagnum spp., moss carpets ... on low hummocks (standing water in shallow hollows between the hummocks). Associated species include Carex trisperma, Smilacina trifolia, Lesum groenlandicum, Vaccinium oxycoccus.
