Habitat: In brushy habitat at the edge of a gravel road through an alder swamp...growing entirely on gravel road fill. Substrate dryish and in nearly full sunlight...Associated with Aster umbellatus, Solidago gigantea, Calamagrostis canadensis.
Description: A single clone 10 mn long. Flowers not yet at peak, 2.8-3.8 cm across; petals broadly elliptic to oblong. Priocanes to 75 cm long, nearly erect. Floricanes to 100 cm long, arching, not tip-rooting.
