Habitat: large granite outcrop. In thin sil accumulated in shallow rock depressions and at the mossy edges of shallow pools. Full sun. Associated species include Bulbostylis capillaris, Talinum parviflorum, Hedeoma hispida, Ambrosia coronopifolia.
