Habitat: In gently-sloping area along the creek ... under patchy canopy of Pinus banksiana near upland / wetland margin (wet meadow and marsh along creek). Partial shade. Sandy soil; some plants in moss mats. Associated species include Oryzopsis asperifolia, Carex pensylvanica, C. stricta, Luzla multiflora, Poa pratensis, Commandra umbellata, Maianthemum canadense, Linnaea borealis, Galium boreale, Cornus canadensis.
