Habitat: Plants occur along the edge of a mixed woodland of Pinus resinosa and Acer saccharum.
Associated Species: Associated with Viola pubescens, Anemone quinquefolia var. bifolia, Luzula acuminata, Diervilla lonicera, Picea glauca.
