Habitat: Along gravel road in fairly rugged forested moraine ... roadside patches planted to "prairie wildlfowers". Sandy gravel soil. Mostly in full sun. Associaated species include Gaillardia pulchella, Lupinus poylphyllus [sic], Ratibida columnifera, Achillea millefolium, Fragaria virginiana, Agastache foeniculum, Rudbeckia hirta, Echinacea angustifolia, Poa pratensis.
