Wet prairie/wet meadow overgrown with shrubs (Populus tremuloides, Salix bebbiana, Betula glandulifera). Growing with Pycnanthemum virgininaum, Rudbeckia hirta, Phlox pilosa, Carex stricta, Solidago gigantea, Eupatorium maculatum.
