Habitat: boreal-type calcaerous seepage fen along narrow water tract feature through large tamarack swamp complex. Sunny, wet, springy, moss-coverd substrate. Associated species include Carex lasiocarpa, C. sterilis, C. limosa, C. interior, Eriophorum viridi-carinatum, Scirpus cespitosus, S. hudsonianus, Phragmites australis, Menyanthes trifoliata, Sarracenia purpurea, Triglochin maritima, Parnassia glauca, Pedicularis lanceolata, Andromeda glaucophylla, Betula glandulifera.
