tamarack swamp beneath canopy of Larix laricina and Fraxinus pennsylvanica. Wet organic soil. Associated species include Viburnum trilobum, Cornus stolonifera, Parthenocissus inserta, Rubus pubescens, Amphicarpaea bracteata, Equisetum arvense, Scutellaria lateriflora, Arisaema triphyllum.
