Associated species include Cyperus squarrosus, Eleocharis intermedia, E. obtusa, Lipocarpha micrantha, Eragrostis pectinacea, E. hypnoides, E. frankii, Verbena bracteata, V. hastata, Plantago major, Amaranthus rudis, Mollugo verticillata, Euphorbia glyptosperma, Gnahphalium obtusifolium, Salix exigua.
