Associates include Festuca obtusa, Aster ciliolatus, Matteuccia struthiopteris, Galium triflorum, Uvularia grandiflora, Athyrium angustum, Arisaema triphyllum, Asarum canadense, Menispermum canadense, Corylus cornuta.
