Habitat: poor fen surrounding small, unnamed, boggy lake which forms the headwaters of small stream ... Saturated peat. In full sun in area with lots of old snags, trees killed by flooding due to beaver activity in the past. Associated species include Carex lasiocarpa, Solidago uliginosa, Potentilla palustris, Lysimachia thyrsiflora, Campanula aparinoides, Aster umbellatus, Andromeda glaucophylla, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Salix pyrifolia. Also on boggy shore of lake with Iris versicolor.
