Habitat: marly wet soil and shallow water on the northeast side of the lake. In full sun. Associates include Carex stricta, C. lacustris, Scirpus validus, Sagittaria latifolia, Asclepias incarnata, Scutellaria galericulata, Eupatorium perfoliatum, cicuta bulbifera. Forming dense patches.
