Habitat: in sphagnum lawn. Sphagnum opening FPn71. Canopy 75% cover, Thuja canopy 45%; Picea mariana cover 35% cover. Thuja mode dbh 15-25 cm. Picea mode dbh 15-25 cm. Open lawn (oasis) 7 - 15 m wide. Several such oasis [sic] in view with Thuja < 10 m tall. Shallow hummocks. Abies shrub. Thuja shrubs. Ledum frequent. Scirpus cespitosus on small sphagnum hummocks in open canopy. Cypripedium calceolus parviflorum.
