Habitat: In a long-abandoned pasture, now being invaded by shrubs and tree saplings ... Associated with Crataegus macrosperma, C. chrysocarpa, C. punctata, C. succulenta.
Description: An open-grown single-stemmed specimen, 2 m tall and 12 cm diameter at base. Stamens ca 10, anthers pink. Compound thorns absent, simple throns sparsse. Collected from same stem as WRS 26460 (fruiting).
