Habitat: Eight acre kettle-hole bog (poor fen) in steeply-rolling terrain; in Sphagnum hummocks on the floating mat. In full sun to partial shade of scattered Larix laricina. Associated species include Carex lasiocarpa, C. chordorrhiza, Eriophorum angustifolium, Scheuchzeria palustris, Drosera rotundifolia, Pogonia ophioglossoides, Vaccinium macrocarpon, Andromeda glaucophylla.
