Habitat: Moderately rugged forested moraine ... sedge meadow and emergent marsh along the creek ... Wet mucky organic substrate, in spots that were open pools during higher water level period earlier in the season. Full sun. Additional associates include Carex lacustris, C. utriculata, Scirpus validus, Agrostis stoloifera, Sparganium eurycarpum, Impatiens capensis, Sagittaria latifolia, Bidens cernua, Alisma plantago-aquatica, Cicuta bulbifera.
