In small (2-acre) savanna remnant on the shouthern shore ... In sandy soil. Partial shade of Quercus ellipsoidalis and Pinus banksiana. Associated species include Carex siccata, Poa pratensis, Andropogon gerardii, Achillea millefolium, Fragaria virginiana, Rubus strigosus, Corylus americana, and young Populus tremuloides and P. balsamifera.
