Habitat:
small poor fen ("cranberry bog") in slight, three acre depression atop 60 foot wooded hill. In partial shade of Betula papyrifera, B. glandulifera, and Acer rubrum. Spongy, continuous Sphagnum substrate. Assciates include Drosera rotundifolia, Vaccinium macrocarpon, Spiraea tomentosa, Dulichium arundinaceum, Carex lacustris.
