Habitat: In a narrow band of brushy woods on a N-facing slope ... Associated with Physocarpus opulifolius, Viburnum trilobum, Cornus rugosa, C. alternifolia, Ostrya virginiana.
Description: A small single-stemmed tree 4.6 m tall and 8 cm in diameter. Stamens ca 10, anthers white. No compound thorns present. Fr just becoming red; L =0.9-1.1 cm, W =0.8-1.15 cm. Nutlets 3. Collected from same stem as #25658 (flowering).
