Associated with Platanthera flava var. herbiola, Viola lanceolata, Malaxis unifolia, Potentilla recta, Rubus spp., Liatris pycnostachya, Carex lasiocarpa, Spiraea alba, S. tomentosa, Betula pumila, Salix spp., Juncus brevicaudatus, and Gentiana spp.
