Habitat: Near bog pond edge in open Sphagnum mat transitioning to scattered and stunted Picea mariana, larix, Platanthera clavellata, Menyanthes trifoliata, Scheuchzeria palustris, Rhynchospora alba, Carex paupercula, C. chordorrhiza, etc.
