Habitat: Moderately rugged foressted terrain along creek. In sedge meadow and emergent marsh along the creek. Wet mucky organic substrate, often in spots that were open pools during higher water level period earlier in the season. Full sun. Additional associates include: Carex lacustris, C. utriculata, Leersia oryzoides, Agrostis stolonifera, Scirpus validus, Impatiens capensis, Alisma plantago-aquatica, agittaria latifolia, Sparganium eurycarpum Cicuta bulbifera.
Description: Locally abundant.
