Locality: United States, Minnesota, Todd, N side of Mound Lake, 2 miles S of Burtrum, 3.5 miles E-NE of Grey Eagle, above E end of Little Mound Lake.;;127N;32W;02

Habitat: Strongly rolling forested moraine. In mesic hardwood forest along base and lower portion of rather steep, 70-foot, north-facing slope above lake. Canopy dominated by Tilia americana, Betula papyrifera, Acer rubrum, and A. saccharum. Rather dense understory of Acer saccharum, A. rubrum, and Ostrya virginiana. Compacted sandy-loam. Associates include: Lycopodium hickeyi, Athyrium angustum, Maianthemum canadense, Smilacina racemosa, Solidago flexicaulis, Actaea rubra, Uvularia sessifolia, Osmorhiza claytonii, Streptopus roseus, Carex pedunculata, and seedlings of Acer saccharum and Tilia americana.
Description: Uncommon and local. Fairly dense small patches.
