Habitat: Small fen opening within larger cedar swamp; atypical fen for area, similar to featureless water track or spring fen. Associates include Sarracenia purpurea, Carex lasiocarpa, Menyanthes trifoliata, Galium labradoricum, Eleocharis elliptica, Carex chordorrhiza, Drosera rotundifolia, and stunted Larix laricina. Sphagnum on hummocks and brown mosses in wet hollows.
