Habitat: Very small fen opening within cedar swamp; atypical fen for area, similar to featureless water track or spring fen. Other associates include Sarracenia purpurea, Carex lasiocarpa, Menyanthes trifoliata, Galium labradoricum, Trichophorum alpinum, Carex chordorrhiza, Drosera rotundifolia and stunted Larix laricina. Sphagnum on hummocks, and brown mosses in wet hollows.
