In deep muck/peat of small pool, remnant of in-filled stream channel within northern poor fen/poor conifer swamp peatland complex. No immediate associates in muck. Margin of pool dominated by Carex lasiocarpa, Myrica gale.

Locally common in patch stranded at this date.
