Verbatim Coordinates: 48° 29' 4.95" N,95° 4' 46.52" W;
Habitat: In wet-mesic island w/i large rich fen; dominated by trembling aspen, under part shade. Associated species: Matteuccia struthiopteris, Acer spicatum, Carex gynocrates, Dryopteris carthusiana, Fraxinus nigra saplings, Rubus pubescens, Rhamnus alnifolia, Petasites frigidus var. palmatus. Top four inches of soil is humus and moist muck, then saturated light colored, fine sand.
Description: Only a few plants; within an area ~5x5 m.
