Habitat: Scirpus-dominated wet meadow developing in a former pond since sometime after 1991. Growing at bases of sedges and on Sphagnum mounds. Close associates: Scirpus cyperinus, Carex utriculata, Calamagrostis canadensis, Triadenum fraseri, Dulichium arundinaceum.
