Habitat:
In a grassy prairie-like clearing. Associated with Asclepias syriaca, Rudbeckia hirta var. pulcherrima, Andropogon gerardii, Potentilla arguta.
Description:
Floricane 90 cm long (foreshortened [sic]), low-arching to prostrate, not tip-rooting. Primocane 90 cm long, erect to high-arching, not tip-rooting.
