Habitat:
In a brushy opening in oak-hickory forest. Soil rocky/gravelly, well-drained. Growing in partial shade.
Description:
Flowers at peak this date, 3.0-4.7 cm across; petals ovate to broadly ovate. Primocanes only about 1 m long, still erect. Floricanes to 2 m long, arching to high-arching.
