Habitat: In narrow ecotone between dry upland prairie and wet sedge meadow. In mesic sandy soil and full sunlight. Associated with Andropogon gerardii, Corylus americana, Thelypteris palustris.
Description: Most fruits still red or green, a few black; globose, 8-12 mm across. Primocanes to 1.3 m long, low-arching. Floricanes to 1.4 m, trailing whole length and tip-rooting.
