Associated species include Bromus inermis, Phleum pratense, Poa pratensis, Andropogon gerardii, Achillea millefolium, Solidago speciosa, Trifolium pratense, Lotus corniculatus, Stellaria longifolia, Symphoricarpos occidentalis.
