Habitat:
Rolling drumlin plain. Local in poor conifer swamp in inter-drumlin wetland complex. Occasional along ~50-foot wide cleared swath (maintained along property line) through stand of Picea mariana, with scattered Larix laricina. Mostly in full sun. Continuous Sphagnum carpets. Deep saturated peat. Associates include Carex lacustris, C. lasiocarpa, C. stricta, C. canescens, C. chordorrhiza, Eriophorum angustifolium, Drosera rotundifolia, Triadenum fraseri, Smilacina trifolia, Vaccinium oxycoccus, Dryopteris cri
