Habitat: Strongly-rolling forested terrain. Local, scattered plants in small (~2-acre) sedge meadow. Saturated peat. On hummocks of Calamagrostis canadensis and Carex stricta. Full sun. Additional associates include Triadenum fraseri, Lysimachia thyrsiflora, Cicuta bulbifera, Campanula aparinoides, Potentilla palustris, P. norvegica, Galium trifidum, Rumex orbiculatus, Betula glandulifera, B. papyrifera, Glyceria canadensis, Dulichium arundinaceum.
