Description: Old escapted tree about 10 m high with several trunks. Flower buds red to deep pink, flowers opening light pink to white; styles mostly 4 (3-5); leaves mostly folded in bud, sometimes a bit involute. Fruiting branch included; collected 29 Jun 1967
