Habitat: Loamy soil. Mesic deciduous forest on slope above the Little Cobb River. Canopy dominated by Fraxinus pennsylvanica and Ulmus americana. Other sedges collected here include, Carex hitchcockiana, C. cephaloidea, C. echinodes, C. hirtifolia.
