Habitat: In wet, spongy peat. A rich fen dominated by Carex lasiocarpa var. americana.
Associated Species: Other specimens collected here include Trichophorum alpinum, Eriophorum chamissonis, Carex chordorrhiza, Comarum palustre.
Description: Infrequent at this site.
