Habitat:
Heavy clay soils. In a mature mesic deciduous forest dominated by Acer saccharum and Tilia americana. Other sedges collected here include Carex gracillima, C. sparganioides, C. assiniboinensis, C. hirtifolia, C. pedunculata.
Description:
Apparently very infrequent and very local in this woods.
